You’re not alone.

nurturing strength on your unique parenting journey.

As a parent of a child with special needs, I understand the unique joys and challenges this journey brings. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering a safe space to fall apart a little, be honest about how hard this is, and find your footing again.

You don’t have to carry this weight alone or figure it out all by yourself. Together, we’ll find balance, connection, and path forward.

Sound like you?

Feeling isolated or like no one truly understands your daily reality

Carrying constant guilt or worry about whether you’re doing enough for your child

Feeling overwhelmed by appointments, decisions, or constant caregiving demands

Struggling to maintain your sense of self or find joy outside of caregiving

In these sessions, we’ll explore the root of your stress and emotions, develop personalized coping strategies, and practice self-compassion. We’ll also work on setting boundaries, finding moments of rest, and reconnecting with your sense of purpose beyond caregiving.

As we progress, you’ll begin to feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more confident in your ability to meet each day with intention and care.

I’ll help you slow down and tune into your own needs, so you can recognize when overwhelm sets in and learn how to pause before burnout.

Here’s what we’ll do together

In therapy, we’ll create a safe space for you to process these emotions, build resilience, and rediscover your sense of self.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Your love, your strength, and your dedication are truly making a difference— both to your child and to your own future.

Questions?

FAQs

  • This is a space where you don’t have to explain yourself or justify how hard it is. We focus on what you’re carrying (the grief, the exhaustion, the guilt, the love) and work through it together. I understand this world not just as a therapist, but as a parent who has lived it. That means you’ll never have to translate your experience for me. I already know.

  • Most therapists can offer support around stress and parenting challenges. But when your child has complex medical, developmental, or behavioral needs, the experience of raising them is in a category of its own. A general therapist may be compassionate and skilled, but they may also need you to spend a lot of time explaining your world before the real work begins. I bring both clinical training and personal lived experience to this work, which means we can get to what actually matters, faster. And you’ll never feel like you have to justify why this is as hard as it is.

  • That’s completely okay (and honestly, very common)! Most of the parents I work with have spent so long focused on their child’s needs that they’ve pushed their own to the back burner for years. A free consultation is a no-pressure way to talk about what’s going on, ask any questions you have, and get a feel for whether this feels like the right fit. There’s no obligation, just a conversation.
