You’ve tried countless ways to find relief, but lasting change still feels out of reach.

Maybe you’ve been to traditional talk therapy before, but the deep change you were hoping for hasn’t come. Even after doing all the “right” things in therapy, parts of your experience may still feel unresolved—like your mind understands, but your body hasn’t caught up.

But you’re still feeling…

Stuck in the same emotional patterns, even though you understand them

Easily triggered, with reactions that feel bigger than they should

Wondering why this still has such a hold on you

EMDR therapy can help you show up for your life with less reactivity and a deeper sense of control.

EMDR is an evidence-based method that offers a difference approach: it taps into your brain’s natural capacity to process and heal.

  • EMDR works by helping your brain reprocess experiences that feel “stuck.” Using guided eye movement or other forms of bilateral stimulation, we gently activate your brain’s natural healing process so those memories no longer have the same grip on you.

  • We’ll move through a few phases: understanding your goals, building coping skills, and then processing past experiences. A lot of people worry EMDR will feel intense or overwhelming, and while it does bring intense emotions to the surface, you’ll have tools to stay grounded throughout the process. You won’t have to share every detail out loud, and you’re always in control of how far we dive in.

  • EMDR can help you feel less overwhelmed by the past and more present in your daily life. Memories that once felt intense or triggering begin to lose their emotional charge, allowing you to respond with more calm, clarity, and choice. It helps to shift what’s been keeping you stuck.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Healing is possible and you don’t have to keep carrying this the way you have been.

Questions?

FAQs

  • No. One of the benefits of EMDR is that you don’t have to share every detail out loud for it to be effective. We focus on what feels important, and you’re always in control of what you choose to share.

  • EMDR is designed to be paced in a way that feels manageable. We spend time building coping skills and a sense of safety before beginning any deeper work. That being said, many clients report feeling more tired or emotionally drained for the remainder of the day. You’ll be supported throughout the process and I’m here to answer any concerns or questions that arise.

  • While talk therapy focuses on understanding and processing through conversation, EMDR works more directly with how memories are stored in the brain. It helps reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences so they no longer feel as triggering in the present.
