THERAPY IN TEMECULA, CA
AND ONLINE THROUGHOUT CA
Guiding you toward healing, connection, and a life that feels like your own.
Sometimes life feels heavy.
You might feel disconnected or like you’re carrying something alone. Perhaps your life doesn’t match the dreams you once had. Here you’ll find a space to understand not just what you’re feeling, but why.
-
You’ve learned to push through, stay strong, and keep it together, but somewhere along the way you lost touch with yourself. The strategies that helped you survive aren’t serving you anymore, and you’re ready for something different.
-
The way we learned to relate to others (to love, to trust, to protect ourselves) often begins before we even have words for it. If you grew up in a home that felt unpredictable, critical, or emotionally unavailable, those early experiences don’t just stay in the past. They show up in your relationships, your sense of self, and the stories you tell yourself about whether you’re worthy of love.
-
Relationships can be where our deepest wounds live, and also where our deepest healing happens. If you’ve experienced a controlling partner, an emotionally unavailable parent, or simply find yourself repeating patterns you don’t fully understand, then therapy can help you make sense of it all and you can begin to relate to others (and yourself) differently.
I’m kami.
I believe you have the capacity to heal and grow, even from your deepest struggles.
I became a therapist because I believe that the right relationship—one built on trust, safety, and genuine curiosity—can change everything. Healing isn’t just about managing symptoms or learning coping strategies. It’s about understanding your story and releasing what you’ve been carrying alone.
I specialize in attachment, trauma, and EMDR, and I tend to work best with people who are ready to go a little deeper. My approach is warm and collaborative. I’ll never push you faster than feels right, but I will walk alongside you with honesty and care as we work toward something that actually lasts.
How I can help
The right support can help you get to the root of it.

Anxiety and trauma are often deeply connected— your nervous system learned to stay on alert for good reason. We’ll explore those root causes, process what’s been hard to carry, and help you build a sense of safety that feels real and lasting.
-
The way we learned to connect (or protect ourselves from connection) begins early. If you grew up with a parent who was unpredictable, critical, or emotionally unavailable, those early experiences shape how you show up in relationships today. Whether you find yourself pulling away, holding on too tight, or attracting the same painful dynamics, therapy can help you understand those patterns and slowly build something different.
-
Parenting a child with special needs brings a kind of love and a kind of exhaustion that’s hard to put into words. The ongoing grief, the fierce advocacy, and the loneliness of a path you never expected— these are real and deserve real support. Together we can create space for all of it, including the parts you feel you’re not supposed to say out loud.
-
Sometimes talking about something isn’t enough to release it. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-backed therapy that helps the brain process experience that got stuck. Those memories, feelings, or beliefs that still feel raw even though you logically know that you’re safe now. It’s one of the most powerful tools I use, and for many clients it creates shifts that years of talk therapy alone couldn’t.
